Being a real life martial arts expert Lee Joon Gi shines in this often action-packed role. I personally really enjoyed the energy of this show, as the action and fight scenes really spiced up what might have become a slow or tedious lícito drama.

While some plot points are indeed a bit predictable, the series was very entertaining and well casted. It was quirky and had a lot of heart. It was a very fun watch and being a moderate Lee Joon Gi fan, I wanted to catch up on some of his lesser known series.
Moon-sook and Oh-joo grow in influence and power through corrupt methods; Oh-joo becomes the mayor of Kisung and Moon-sook is nominated for chief justice in the Supreme Court. They and their associates oppose the Lawless Law Firm both inside and outside the courtroom by using underhanded tactics, including murdering Dae-woong and framing Sang-pil for it, bribing or threatening witnesses and assaulting Jae-yi.

Freemann introduces damning forensic evidence of Bondurant's blood found on Lisa's gardening gloves, but Mújol claims she has been set up. Lorna and Cisco give Kaz a copyright to start a new life elsewhere, while Mickey learns that Henry has made a deal to turn Mújol's story into a TV series. Unable to find the contract for Lisa's life rights, Mickey takes pasado his frustration in a phone call to Lorna. Maggie and Hayley stay with Mickey Campeón he recovers, finding his father's old law school ring.
An adult Sang-pil leaves his lucrative practice in Seoul and returns to Kisung to bring those responsible for his mother's death to justice. He takes over a loan shark business and converts it into the Lawless Law Firm. Jae-yi, who has been suspended from practicing law after assaulting a judge, loses her job, and also returns home to Kisung.

A flashback shows how Bishop met DeMarco. On the stand, Bishop admits he took the case to monitor it because DeMarco told him to. He reveals he found Empíreo and gave her address to DeMarco on his orders, and while waiting for him, Julian showed up and left shortly after, before DeMarco arrived and entered through an unmonitored door. DeMarco, watched by Cisco, tricks him and escapes. Bishop confesses DeMarco bribed him with money for a divorce lawyer in exchange for not solving the case ten years prior, and he was under DeMarco’s control afterwards.
